I only get ntuser results for the logged on administrator account. I've since tried using a piece of software called uph clean that closes processes that are holding the ntuser files open.

SO it doesnt appear that the ntuser file is locked and therefore not able to be updated during log off ____________________________________________________ When the testuser is logged on I can map a network drive to the profile and then add files so this suggests it's not a problem with the writing permissions I see that that you have already tried a few things, but I have found from experience that most of my profile issues are permissions issue. I've yet to test extensively but first appearances are that running this before logoff allows the profile to update correctly for that logoff.
